New possibilities for presenting an interior installation at Bečov Castle

This essay assesses the hitherto results of professional research dedicated to the lower castle in Bečov nad Teplou, including archival research focused on the history of the Beaufort-Spontin family and their acquisitional activities. It presents the possibility of a future installation of the building with preliminary plans for 2015, when one of the existing visitor routes (reliquary of St. Maurus) is to be moved to another area in the complex. After this transfer, a new concept for castle interior tours will be possible which places greater emphasis on the figures of the individual owners as well as on the diversity of the presented interiors.
