Stiassni family villa - example of First Republic garden art
The text presents a unique villa garden from the interwar period located in the city of Brno. Special attention is given to the historical contexts that led to the creation of the building - the family villa of the Stiassni family with a 3-hectare garden. The villa and other structures in the garden are discussed, and the prevailing relationships between the villa and garden are mentioned as well. The original appearance of the garden is described in detail, and the problem of determining the exact authorship of the garden is laid out. The conclusion points out the recent history of the building as well as the current situation.
