Pernštejn Year 2012

This article presents a recap of a key educational event of the National Heritage Institute in 2012. The event commemorating the Pernštejn family joined the forces of dozens of organizations in four regions of the Czech Republic, thus creating a series of exhibitions, lecture series, and cultural events, while publications were issued for professionals and the general public. The entire project was sponsored by a unified marketing campaign backed by major publicity. The series "Traces of Nobility" (Po stopách šlechtických rodů) thus presented a dignified finish to its second year in order to pass the baton to the "Year of French Culture", commemorating the heritage of French families in the Czech cultural environment.
