Systematic documentation and evaluation of the construction and technical fund of the railway. Northern State Railway as connected to the Austrian State Railway Company
Railways built by the Northern Railway under Emperor Ferdinand have been mapped in detail within the course of departmental research. The aim of the subsequent research is to document the former Northern State Railway (Olomouc - Prague - Děčín, Brno - Česká Třebová) within the range of its root tracks and comparatively the networks of the Austrian State Railways (StEG), to which it was connected. An overview of the formation of the basic railway network in relation to the railway company provides information on the main railway lines while at the same time describing the process of systematic research focused on aspects of heritage preservation.
