New uses for technical and industrial heritage
Finding new uses for technical and industrial buildings is an issue that concerns not only historically protected buildings, but the entire surviving fund of technical manufacturing buildings and facilities. Approaches towards bringing them to life vary widely and always depend on the structure of each individual building. The fund holds a relatively diverse overall construction potential that has been possible to revive only recently. There are some mistakes that can not be avoided, but in many cases a good path has been undertaken which helps to maintain the original manufacturing buildings through different usage, thus strengthening awareness about them as well.
